What people are saying about Flavors.

  • Flavors.me solves a common problem. I don’t know of another service that allows someone to combine all of their social network activity onto a single page. Before Flavors.me, there was no way (that I know of) for someone to point to a single location on the web and say, “that’s me – that’s what I talk about online”.

In short, Flavors.me gives people the opportunity to create a landing pad sort of like an online business card. In fact, I think that’s how Flavors.me could really excel – I could easily see putting http://flavors.me/robbrown on the bottom of a business card or on the top of a resume.

Simple, straightforward and “classy” is how I’d describe Flavors.me. This is important to me because when I represent myself online, I try to “keep it classy San Diego” and services like this help me with that.

It’s crazy easy to setup. After I understood the basic concept, it took me 5 minuets to link up my first service, toss up a background image and play with the colors. If someone wants to know who I am, I want to make that easy for them. Collecting all of my services is a good idea.

It’s open and free, but lets me pay for some advanced features. While setting up and modifying the service, not once did I feel constrained. I wanted to put a href in my bio – no problem. Advanced features like custom domain names and a contact form are an easy sale at $20 per year. The next time I print business cards, I’ll likely pony up.
