I’ve been spreading the word about my experience with the totally awesome and totally free Flavors.me service (thought they do have a few more features for paid accounts) online and at conventions since I first logged on a few months ago. I’ve got nothing but good things to say about it, especially since the fine folks behind the scenes continue to innovate (hello, HTML5) and remain accessible to their users via email and Twitter.
I have so many artist and writer pals trying to maintain old, cumbersome sites with various issues and limitations (sometimes for ridiculous prices!), when what we really needed was something to elegantly pull all the stuff we’re already doing together. (And of course, maintain the usefulness of existing social network presences.) Seriously, if you’re a comics creative and want to spend more of your time making awesomes rather than managing your website, Flavors.me is your new best ally.
